St Philomena's Guest House
This guest house is ideal for families and small groups, or individuals wishing to enjoy a quiet and spiritually refreshing break on Caldey.  All the bedrooms are situated at ground level with just three steps to use.  You should be aware that St Philomena's is approached on one side by a steep hill and by steep woodland steps on the other.
The house enjoys a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with all meals being taken communally in the dining room where you are also welcome to make hot drinks whenever you wish.  Accommodation is full board and meals are freshly prepared by Peter and Dawn, the managers.  Although St Philomena's has no television, there is a well stocked library and plenty of board games.  Two small quiet reading rooms are also provided.

St Philomena's is a few minutes walk from Priory Bay which has an extensive sandy beach and is the safest spot on the island from which to bathe in the sea.

We are grateful for a donation towards the cost of your stay, our guideline is £35 per person per day.  Your generosity will help others who are genuinely unable to afford a donation.

St Philomena's Guest House is open from immediately after Easter until the end of October each year.  The house can accommodate up to 15 people in total (13 single and 1 twin).  From the beginning of May until the end of September we cannot accept bookings for less than three nights.  The maximum stay is one week a year.  Please see the Information and Contact pages.
