General Information
For details about the boats please telephone the Boatman 01834 842 220 for a recorded message with up to date sailing details, but do please remember crossings are subject to weather and safety considerations. Please do not contact us about boat times. Caldey is an island which is privately owned and landing is not permitted by any means other than at the jetty on one of our designated boats.
There are no properties available on Caldey Island for long term rental. Whilst you are welcome to register your interest in renting a property under a Tenancy Agreement, please be aware that there is a waiting list.
Camping is not allowed on the island. As a guest staying with us or as one of the many day visitors who come to enjoy the island, you are strongly advised to comply with all signs regarding privacy, the cattle, safe bathing in the sea etc. Please be aware that you must not approach the cattle under any circumstances, neither should you go into fields where they are grazing. Sandtop Bay and the coast between Nannas Cave and Little Drinkim are also completely out of bounds. Do not attempt crossing to St Margaret's Island.
